Hmmm… where should I start…
Well first off my mother had her baby! I have another little sibling now! HE’S SO CUTE AND I LOVE HIM AND I WILL PROTECT HIM AT ALL COSTS
He’s like… 6-7 weeks old? I think?? His birthing went well, but it was definitely a physical toll on my poor mother, she’s only in the last couple weeks been able to get up and around again.

I also experienced my first romance this summer. It was a lovely thing…
What a shame that it only lasted two weeks. Then they ghosted me. And I got upset. And then we broke up. *sad sigh lol*
Honestly it was all very ridiculous and dramatic the way everything happened, and I’m very sad to have not only lost this persons presence in my life, but also another friend that SOMEHOW got caught up in the silly drama.
I am learning that it’s okay for people to fall out of your circle though, it’s okay to move on from them. Friends (and more than friends) will come and go and that’s okay.
It’s still HARD and SAD sometimes. But it can also be very freeing.
Long story short, I tried to date one of my best friends, and now I have NO FRIENDS because they were all actin’ crazy and now I’m learning to grow in their absence 😌

Since the ending of Ninjago I have very much fallen out of the loop and headspace. I have no idea if I ever talked about my feelings for Dragons Rising. I don’t think I did though, so I’ll start there!
SPOILERS FOR SEASON 1 OF NINJAGO DRAGONS RISING
I liked it pretty well, I think there’s a lot of neat ideas. Lot of wasted potential as well though. I love Arin’s character, and I find Sora very interesting and a surprisingly well fleshed out character! I do wish they’d found a different VA for Sora… It’s weird to me that she shares a VA with Vania.
I cannot BELIEVE that they introduced a whole new Elemental Master of AIR and then dropped her after a single episode. JUSTICE FOR EUPHRASIA!! (I think that’s her name). She could’ve been such an interesting addition to our new team. Instead we have
…yeah. Don’t get me wrong, WyldFyre could definitely grow on me but right now she is… VERY intense for my taste. Idk, I have a lot of mixed feelings there. (I am super excited to see what her dynamic with Kai will be though! 🤩)
As for the OG Ninja, I’m really glad that we got genuine reunions for them all so far. Like, when Kai and Nya hugged again for the first time I was- *sniff* it was just so touching.
I do wish there was more like… explanation as far as what the Ninja have been doing all these years.
And that’s another thing!!! I am heartbroken at the math. Cause like, let’s say Arin was somewhere between 8-12 when the merge happened. And now he’s gotta be like… 14-16. So the time skip is anywhere from two to EIGHT YEARS. Conceivably.
Either way, that means the Ninja have all been alone for that long and that makes me so sad 😭

WHAT HAS THE WRITERS DONE WITH THEM!
(I know we know more now that the season 2 trailer is out, but I wrote a lot of this before then)
I keep hearing about these “Jay gets amnesia” rumors and oh my GOSH ITS SO GOOD AND SO SAD AT THE SAME TIME J DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH THAT IDEA.
But yeah, that’s how I’m feeling about Dragons Rising. I hope that season 2 is good and that maybe we can explore more of Ninjago post!merge. Cause like, the WORLDBUILDING has such great potential, I really hope they utilize some of it.
My other fandoms… well, The Owl House is over :’) (I was pretty pleased with its ending, it was fairly well done for the time they had!)
The Dragon Prince season 5 came out! I am very much struggling to finish it though, both because I’ve been busy and because it’s just not as good as it used to be, sadly.
I own Hogwarts Legacy now, that new Harry Potter game? Yeah it’s really fun! And time consuming haha.
OH AND SEASON 2 OF OUR FLAG MEANS DEATH COMES OUT ON THURSDAY YAYYYY–
