So like I have huge news you guys! And it is NOT what you expect!

But first, it’s late wrap up time

Fun things done last month

• I was in Murder on the Orient Express at my local theatre!
• It rained like NINE inches before noon on the 8th. It was insanity and heavy flooding
• I tried out for The Wizard of Oz, also at my local theatre
• I had my first sleepover with a friend! (I’ve had them with cousins, but that’s a bit different)
• I travelled to a different state for Fathers Day! It was really fun
• I finally watched PotC: On Stranger Tides
• I THOUGHT I lost my kitty cat, but we found her and I was so glad.
• I took a vocal class and now I’m better at singing!

I have other big news too, but I’m going to share it towards the end of the post 👀

June goals

I didn’t really complete ANY of my goals for June. HOWEVER. THEY WERE OBVIOUSLY JUST THE WRONG GOALS! Because you know I DID do this month? Almost all of my May goals!!!

• “Be asleep by 11” Yep! There were a few nights that I stayed up later, but for the most part I’ve been in bed by 11. Even better, there were a few times when I was READY for bed by 10, but then I just got distracted… (in my defense DOCTOR WHO was on TV, I’m supposed to just FALL ASLEEP?!?-)
• “Continue reading LotR” I finished the Two Towers!!!! These books are so good
• “Get ahead in something” I dunno if this counts as “ahead”, but I’ve been doing much better keeping up with my math work. Little victories baby, I’m not perfect (:
• “Have my room reorganized” I went through my dresser and got rid of some stuff!
• “Take care of thyself” Always working on it 🫡👐

So yeah! As usual, I’m a little late but BETTER LATE THAN NEVER!!!! ☝️

Things to look forward to in JULY

• Fourth of July (which has already happened as I’m writing this. Very fun weekend!
• I’m doing a summer camp with my friends!
• Super exciting art project is almost finished 👀
• The last TWO months I have opened my arms to surprises the universe might send, and both times I have been gifted! Third times a charm. I’m ready for July!!

July goa-

You know, I don’t think I’m gonna put my July goals here. For one, I dunno what my goals are yet, for two, I think it would be better to keep them internalized this month. At the end of July, I will still talk about my accomplishments, but I’m just going to try this method!

I think that’s all, pretty pleased with this last month, twas very good (:

A BIRD PARENT

I recently adopted a baby bird by the name of Chirp! Chirp is healthy, bright eyed, growing fast. She does very sweet things that you probably don’t think a bird does, such as yawn, sneeze, and she licks her lips- uh, beak rather, after a meal. She eats worms and grasshoppers, and we’re trying to teach her to eat birdseed and drink water on her own. She’s very good at pecking, but she’s still gotta work on the swallowing part.

She’s so sweet. Today I think she’s learned to balance on one foot! And now she’s going to sleep on my finger.

So yeah! That’s my news! This was kind of personal for me to share, but I hope that it’s alright.

I am very thankful for having the opportunity to care for Chirp, I hope I do right by her. Thank you for reading!
